Androscoggin Bank Unveils Recipients of MainStreet Foundation Grants, Benefiting Organizations That Support Youth12/19/2011 11:00:00 AM - Press Release LEWISTON, Maine - December 19, 2011 - Androscoggin Bank today announced the recipients of six Impact Grants as a part of the Bank's MainStreet Foundation grant program. The Grants awarded total $22,000 and benefit at-risk youth throughout Maine and New England. MainStreet Foundation grants are provided for local organizations that support the projects, programs and initiatives that foster the development of and ensure the welfare support the welfare of young people. Grant applications are reviewed three times a year, in February, May and November. To be considered in the next review cycle, applications must be received by email or mail by January 15, 2012. Androscoggin Bank Now Accepting Applications for ABCommunity Grants; Deadline for Local Non-Profits is January 111/14/2011 4:13:00 PM - Press Release LEWISTON, Maine - Nov. 14, 2011 - Androscoggin Bank today announced it is currently accepting applications for the ABCommunity grant program. ABCommunity grants are provided for non-profit organizations that support community activities. Grant applications are reviewed on a bi-annual basis; to be considered in the current review cycle, applications must be received by email or mail by January 1. Applications received after this date will not be considered until July 2012. |
For our employee spotlight this month, we chatted with Giselle St. Amand, a retail manager at our Turner Street branch in Auburn. Giselle's been part of the Androscoggin family even before she started working for us herself; her mother is a business and government services officer who started out as part of our retail team.
